Many thanks for your curiosity in my writings. A little bit about me if you have not checked out my Facebook page. Tereve is my pen name and is derived from a combination of family names which is a tribute to my heritage. I began writing poetry when I was a child, and continue to present day, about many of the events that have touched me and my family's lives. I am happily married and with grown children, some of them live close to us, and others far away. Our daughter is the farthest, being a missionary in Africa, where I have visited and plan to revisit again. As Jeannie Robertson likes to say, you don't need to make up things to talk about, or write about in my case, you only need to live your life, and you always have plenty of material. My life in Christ has compelled me to get my works copyrighted and start publishing these works in the event that they may be of help to young women or men struggling through their childhood or teen years who seem to have nowhere to turn. Without Jesus I sincerely believe I would not have survived to see this point in life that I now live. I give Him all glory and honor and praise for carrying me through all He has, even when I did not realize He was there."
